Inspiration or Avatar?

People often ask where my logo came from and what inspired it.
Well, the logo is my avatar, so it’s me on a really good day!

It was inspired by my professional martial arts background, my business name, my love of sports and fitness, and my pretty face-hahahaha!

I used o-desk, a virtual online assistant, to discover a very talented artist in Argentina, who worked closely with me to create, what I think is the most perfect logo for my Personal Training business and Martial Arts Company.

These are the stages it went through before it was perfect……..

STAGE ONE

A really great start! Things we needed to modify were the face, eyes, hand position and muscle definition.

Face was too masculine. Eyes needed to look more animated and be much larger. Hand position was too low. Arms needed more muscle definition.

STAGE TWO

This is almost perfect, and achieved after only one draft, pretty awesome hey! The colours were awesome too! Things we needed to modify were the hair, angle of her chest and the position of the hands still wasn’t quite right.

For the ultimate hand position to be achieved the front hand needed to be lifted to be in line with her sports bra, and the back hand lifted closer to her chin. I wanted her to have long hair in a high pony tail and the angle of her chest needed to be a little squarer.

STAGE THREE

Animation is absolutely perfect. All that was needed was the business name!

STAGE FOUR

Now to create a smaller round logo and it was a done deal J

STAGE FIVE

4 perfect circular logos………..And the Hybrid Kombat Logo was complete!

My designer and I were able to create a completely new and exciting logo in 6 weeks, via O-desk, numerous emails, pictures, patience and passion!
