I have been a Personal Training client of Ms Rhyanna Edbrooke for the past three years. During this time, Rhyanna trained me in both group and 1 on 1 session.
Rhyanna is an excellent trainer, who is extremely dedicated to her trade. She is exceptional at tailoring exercise programs to meet specific fitness goals, is extremely motivating to all of her clients (both male and female), and is never anything but personable and professional.

With finding it hard to get motivated and easy to make excuses about not going to the Gym, as well as my own self confidence issues regarding my fitness, Rhyanna makes each session fun and a pleasure to go to. I have been training with Rhyanna since June 2010 for 30 minutes once every 2nd week.
When she first asked me if I wanted a personal trainer I thought why not give it a try. All I had been doing was using the Cardio equipment.
Since training with her I have become more confident in using weights and doing a variety of exercises that I was always too scared to try.
I have noticed that I have become more toned and also my posture has improved.
Rhyanna makes you work hard in the sessions and really encourages you to try and go that little bit further, however she also makes it fun. It’s not always easy but you feel like you’ve achieved something and you feel good afterwards.

I have trained with you for the last three weeks and I have enjoyed every minute of it. You are punctual, motivating and an excellent trainer. The workout sessions Has made me confident, I used to fear I would fall but you always had my back and told me not to worry i will be okay and I listened.
I have had hearing impairments since I was born, I do not hear with my left ear and this caused me to be unbalanced on the left side, I have trained with you and you helped me with my balance on the left hand side, and two days ago I noticed the difference from the first day I arrived I had improved in my balancing. The 30 minutes workouts are intensive and good and I enjoy them. I will recommend you to any person because you are a great trainer and I enjoy my sessions with you.
I found Rhyanna to be really inspirational. She not only looks to be in great physical condition, she also has a wealth of experience to her credit.
I decided to start training with a personal trainer again following a family beach holiday. I hadn’t been in my bathers for several months and hadn’t realised how much weight I had put on. I realised that I needed to do something about losing this weight and doing it quickly. I initially started out with two sessions a week and the weight began to shift. Within two months I dropped these sessions done to once a week and continued to get obvious benefits. I also noticed that my cardio endurance had increased and the runs to and from the gym became a lot easier.
Rhyanna queried whether I wanted to focus on weights or cardio endurance and I elected to focus on improving my muscle tone. My sessions were always varied and strenuous. At the end of each session Rhyanna would always ask me to rate the difficulty of the session and I think these scores tended to fluctuate around 8-9 out of a possible 10 score!
I always felt that Rhyanna was pleased to see me. We even remained in contact when I finished off with my personal training!
If you are after getting fast results then of course I’d recommend Rhyanna.
I find training with Rhyanna very fun.
She uses a variety of exercises every time, not one the same as before so I don’t get bored. She teaches the techniques clearly, correcting me as I go so I get the biggest effect from each training menu. I was happy when she shifted to more core exercises after I talked that I wanted to improve my golf swing.
For my personal interest, going forward, I’m thinking of taking notes of what kind of exercises I did and which muscles it will affect so if Rhyanna could help me with that, it would be great.
The training keeps me refreshing on that day.
I think I’ve achieved more power and energy for everyday life. I have less headaches than I used to and have more appetite as well. It also has good effect on my golf. My swing speed has become faster and my stroke is stronger since my core and bottom half have become stronger. I think I still need some time to be able to see that the distance is increasing.
Lastly, I’ve been training for 4 months and my aim is to gain 2-3kg more weight.
I am a Krav Maga (KMG) instructor teaching out of my own school in South Perth. Around the start of this year at the age 38 I was looking to up my game and try to stay as fit and mentally strong as I could. I didn’t want to end up the fat instructor in the gym happy to rest on my laurels. My goal is to keep pushing forward, keep learning, and keep improving. I met Rhyanna at the gym I was attending. Being a martial artist herself, she identified with what I was looking for straight away, and I decided to give her personal training a go. I was rewarded with the most thorough appraisal I’d ever had, followed by an intense and technical workout. I’ve had personal trainers before, but none that explained why I was doing a particular exercise, or why I need to do it a particular way. I was very impressed, and signed up for 2 sessions a week.
As a way to keep me motivated, Rhyanna asked if she could start training with me during our sessions. I really enjoy training with her except that she often ends up leaving me for dead. I can’t complain about how tough a workout is when she’s killing it right next to me. Since training with Rhyanna I’ve become noticeably stronger and faster. This not only reflects in Krav Maga and boxing, but other activities like mountain biking as well. She has become more than a trainer over the past months, and I regard her as a true friend.
Unfortunately a few months ago Rhyanna moved to Mandurah making training with her twice a week almost impossible. However, every Saturday I wake up at 5:30am and travel for an hour just to train with her. I think this is the biggest compliment I could give her, and the proof of how much I appreciate and respect her service. I would recommend her to anyone looking for improve their fitness and wellbeing, no matter what their goals may be. She is fantastic!

My fiancé and I have always been a generally healthy, active couple who love their sports, nutrition and fitness.
However, as our wedding fast approaches, we both have extra drive and motivation to look and feel great for the big day on the inside and out, this is part of the reason why we have decided to train with a personal trainer. And Rhyanna was recommended for her particularity and focus on technique and posture during workouts -one of the qualities that Gavin as well as I were looking for in a trainer.
We have been training twice a week with Rhyanna for just over a month now and although early days, we are already happy to say that we are seeing some results. I personally already feel stronger, fitter and can notice a difference in my body shape which makes me even more motivated to reach my goals!
My training goals are to lose a few precent in body fat, tone up all over, especially my abs, shoulders, arms and back (for the wedding dress of course!) as well as increase overall fitness and strength through total body workouts.
You can see that Rhyanna genuinely wants to help you achieve your goals and keeps a detailed record of your workout plans, measurements and progression whilst training with her – not many trainers actually take notes! One thing that I believe is great is that she is very observant and will always make sure that you are performing each exercise in the best posture with the best technique and will correct you if you are doing it differently in order to prevent any injury or pain.

I have worked with Rhyanna as my personal trainer now for well over one year. We complete on average two sessions per week concentrating on general strength and flexibility. Due to previous back problems and upper body stiffness brought on by computer work over many years, my strength and range of movement was significantly impaired. Rhyanna has implemented a specially designed program to reverse the damage and strengthen the surrounding muscle. This has improved my fitness to an extent that I would not have believed possible.
Rhyanna has used her extensive knowledge and experience to work a minor miracle. She is also not afraid to call on specialist help to assist with additional therapy where necessary. She has done this while maintaining a very professional and cheerful manner in all of our dealings. My wife, Lillian, also trains with Rhyanna when she stays in the city and would not consider training with anyone else.
I trained one-on-one with Rhyanna for almost a year. Her attention to detail is impeccable — always punctual, always prepared. She gives an awful lot to her clients, but rightfully expects effort in return! I think she has enough depth and breadth in her experience to deal with a wide range of clientele; my having some physical difficulties was a challenge that she rose to and matched admirably. She gave me a taste of many things in a gym environment and allowed me to find the things that I really enjoyed and got the most out of doing. Her insistence on correct form and technique were the things I valued most highly and her guidance is still the thing that I miss the most.
In the 2011 City to Surf in Perth, over a period of three months, Rhyanna took me from never running a kilometre in my life to running four kilometres in twenty-seven minutes — our goal time was thirty-two!
Rhyanna doesn’t neglect the paperwork, either. Often my own schedule would conflict with training, and Rhyanna would always do her best to accommodate me. When it comes to handling money, I trusted her enough that a cursory glance at my statements was enough, month to month, to ensure that the right amount was paid.
In my opinion, Rhyanna possesses all the elements to support herself in her own ventures, ventures that I wouldn’t hesitate to be part of in the future.
I am 15 years of age and wanted to change the way I felt about myself and my body image. I have a great support network at home but found it difficult to maintain self-discipline on my own. My parents suggested I try a personal trainer. I have only had Rhyanna a short time but already I have found that’s she has strengthened my mental attitude so that the physical program I am on doesn’t seem so daunting. Self-belief is not something that comes easily to me; I have always been on the heavier side and believed that I would stay that way for the rest of my life. Until I met Rhyanna, not only did she take my body through some of the hardest workouts of my life but she also supported and coached me mentally. I was given the opportunity to have Rhyanna as my PT, by Martin Kelly, proprietor of Positive Fit Gym, Mandurah. I have been training with her for approximately two months now. I had been advised by my chiropractor to build up my core strength to overcome back pain I was experiencing.
The first thing Rhyanna did was to take me through some tests to ascertain all my weak areas arising from bad posture habits. Once those had been established, Rhyanna proceeded to take me through some exceedingly challenging exercises, constantly correcting my posture and position. (I had formed many bad habits during my years in the gym).
Every week, the workouts have been fun and innovative with totally different routines. I consider my fitness levels to be fairly high but Rhyanna has taken me beyond the physical limitations I thought possible. Rhyanna advised me on an eating plan for my body type and I am happy to say I have shed a few kilos. I have found her physiological knowledge and expertise to be exceptional and extremely helpful to my personal needs. Rhyanna’s personal physique is an incredible testimony of her professionalism and commitment to excellence.
I always look forward to my PT sessions with Rhyanna. I never know what to expect but am always completely satisfied with the content of the workouts – and exhausted! Rhyanna has a wonderful, positive attitude and spurs me on to achieving much more than I thought possible. I have been training on and off for years and have never really achieved the results that I wanted. I would spend hours working out in the gym, but really wasn’t getting results. As a younger girl I was always teased for my weight as a result, through my early to late teens my weight would fluctuate. Between the ages of 19 to 22 I had a couple of major events affect my life which caused me to put on about 20kgs through comfort eating, excessive snacking and no exercise. July this year enough was enough; the bathroom scales and mirror was my worst enemy, I had a low self-esteem and I was heading in a downwards spiral. I didn’t feel good about the way I looked and work was getting me down, I needed a way out.
I walked into the gym asked for a personal trainer and they gave me Rhyanna’s number, without hesitation I called her. Having a PT was a must for me as I had no motivation to up and go to the gym on my own accord.
My first assessment with Rhyanna was overwhelming; I weighed 93.7kg and had relatively high blood pressure for my age. With Rhyanna’s knowledge and education regarding the body and it mechanics she gave me advice on diet and ways to help with fitness and weight loss. We set a goal for me to lose 15kgs and do a minimum of 8 weeks of sessions so I would form a habit of exercising.
Then came the fitness test, I couldn’t run further than 200mtrs at any one time, my 300mtr rowing attempt felt like it took forever and I couldn’t do 1 push up it felt shameful but was a realisation and a great push in the right direction.
I began having two 45minute sessions twice a week, the sessions were very well structured and tailored for my level of fitness (which was none), although very challenging, at the end of every session I was exhausted but the sense of achievement was enormous. Some sessions I feel I wouldn’t have been able to complete if it wasn’t for her pushing me to my limits and her great motivational skills.
As the weeks passed I could feel myself getting fitter, being able to withstand some of the harder challenges that would get pushed upon me, I was starting to enjoy the exercise and feeling a lot healthier for it. Within the first 3 weeks of changing my diet and exercising I dropped 3.8kgs and 40mm, I was over the moon. The results I achieved in the first 3 weeks were amazing, that only pushed me more. As well as having the 2 sessions a week with Rhyanna I began attending the gym another 2-3 times per week when I could.
Over the weeks I continued to drop the weight, every 3 weeks Rhyanna would do my measurements and have another fitness test, every time this was done I think she was more excited about the results than I was, over 57 days I dropped 9kgs, weighing 84.7kg and a loss of 100.9mm. My fitness improved so much. Running a kilometre had become much easier; I didn’t have to break into a walk. My initial run time which included a lot of walking was done in 7.10minutes and a rowing time of 3.58minutes, through very hard work and her pushing me my times are now down to 5.50minutes for the run and 2.54minutes for the row, taking a minutes off both times.
In the 8 weeks I feel my life has changed a great deal, I have a lot more confidence in myself, my attitude has changed and I’m a lot happier about life in general. Anyone who is considering a personal trainer I would highly recommend Rhyanna, I consider her to be a great motivator, she pushes you above and beyond your fitness level which is great for succeeding. The exercises are always varied working on different parts of the body so there is no getting bored with any one exercise. One of the first steps of getting fit and healthy wants to do it for yourself that alone is a great push. Putting all your trust into someone like Rhyanna is another, without her I wouldn’t have been able to get to where I ‘am now and for that I’ am very grateful.
Rhyanna has been my Personal Trainer for the last 14 months. In that time I have had a significant insight into her professional aspirations and character. I initially selected Rhyanna as my Personal Trainer because of her professional manner. In addition, I was significantly impressed with her success as an elite athlete. I commenced personal training with Rhyanna approximately 6-8 months ago. I have always found her to be a professional, passionate and committed PT.
